Hi, I'm Abdul Noor, also known as Ismail! I'm a Software Engineering graduate from UWE Bristol with a passion for Financial Technology and Web3. My academic journey culminated in a dissertation exploring the intersection of blockchain technology and modern online banking, which sparked my fascination with innovative finance solutions.

Currently working in telecommunications sales, I love all things tech and am particularly drawn to the intersection of finance and blockchain technology. My interest extends beyond traditional banking applications, exploring how concepts like smart contracts and decentralised storage systems such as IPFS can be applied across different areas of finance.

Tiffin and Co Caterers

  • • Launched full-stack catering platform with a Next.js website and native iOS admin application (Swift/SwiftUI), integrating a Supabase PostgreSQL database, and Stripe API payment processing and Resend API transactional email service
  • • Implemented iOS order management application with Next.js API integration for real-time order tracking, comprehensive order and customer details display, and Resend email automation for order confirmations and custom cancellation notifications
  • • Devised basket validation system ensuring complete category fulfillment with dynamic volume-based pricing, and integrated Stripe webhooks to automatically persist order details to Supabase upon payment completion

  • • Delivered a full-stack mobile tyre business system using SwiftUI, Express.js, Supabase, Stripe API, and Twilio API with automated payment processing, SMS payment links, and webhook-driven updates

  • • Designed a support system including a issue reporting webpage with email automation, and a FAQ/Q&A webpage using HTML/Tailwind CSS/JavaScript, Flask, SendGrid API, and a MySQL database
  • • Applied Agile methodology, conducting weekly stakeholder reviews and frequently collaborating with UWE ITS leadership to ensure requirements alignment and deliver a solution that exceeded project objectives

  • NotifX

    Jul '25 – Nov '25

    Developed a notification app to help traders receive timely alerts for economic events. Built serverless pipeline with EC2 scraper, S3, CloudFront CDN, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Redis. Implemented EventBridge workers and DynamoDB Streams for automatic notification rescheduling on preference changes.

    Dec '24 – May '25

    Created a mobile app for young adults exploring crypto, abstracting complex blockchain interactions with an intuitive banking-like interface while avoiding volatility through stablecoin adoption. Incorporated thirdweb SDK and Ethers.js for peer-to-peer USDT transfers over Polygon PoS with ≈$0.01 POL gas fees.

  • Football Management System

    Jul '24 – Aug '24

    Produced a football booking management system using Java and JavaFX, integrating Square APIs and Twilio SMS API for automated payment links. Integrated PostgreSQL database to manage bookings and player information. Reduced average payment collection time by 25% through streamlined automation.
